Becoming a designer handbag?
I am only 14 and the dream of becoming a designer handbag with the state up there and the Coach Louis Vuitton, etc. I have been doing some sketches lately and my friends and family say they look very good and I'm really talented. I was looking to go to a fashion school after high school for my business bag land (I have the name for it). I was telling my mom about this and says that I have to wait to school and my trendy designer handbag business can get big while in high school. (Like She's 15 years old, Kira Plastininia, who has a fashion empire.) I wonder what I expect to fashion or start now and see if it really has what it takes to be a designer handbag first class?
Good for you! Start creating your own bags. Can you sew? If not, start now. After creating a prototype, can improve from there. If possible, find a part-time job as a sales clerk in a department store operating in the wallet department. The more exposed to this industry, better and more knowledgeable you are. I would recommend attending a fashion design school class for you to learn all aspects of industry not only mere fashion and design (you know the business side as well.) In addition, it looks very impressive on your resume once you find a house design want to work.
