Sweatshirt and skirt on the beach?
My boyfriend and his family are planning to take to the beach in a couple of weeks. I do not swim (I do not know how) so instead of diving into the sea, I'll be reading a good book or some magazines while lounging on the sand. My question is, would be okay if I wore a zippered sweatshirt and even a short, lightweight skirt? I have a bikini underneath the hood and either keep the zipper hoodie a few centimeters, or uncompressed / off. I've never been to the beach before, so I do not know if that would be out of place to use! Thank you. =]
Maybe instead of a hoodie, you could wear a shirt or Cami. 
If you go to a sunny beach, it might be too hot to wear something with sleeves. But hey, why not learn to swim while you're there! The beach is very shallow, unless you go waay back. You could have your fiance teach, just watch out for strong waves. Have fun!
